Pre School Nutrition and Education and RAHAT Support

Objectives: Pre-School Nutrition and Education: To prevent stunting, wasting, and underweight conditions among children aged 6 months to 5 years by providing daily milk to 100 children in the villages of Bagadu, Dumardaga, Sialdon Munda Toli, Manhu, and Manhu Nayak Toli in Khunti District, Jharkhand.

Rahat Support: To ensure food security for 110 marginalized and socioeconomically disadvantaged rural and tribal families by providing free ration kits in the same villages.

This project, led by the Jiv Daya Foundation (JDF) in collaboration with Sinduartola Gramodaya Vikas Vidyalaya (SGVV), addresses critical issues of malnutrition and food insecurity in Khunti District, Jharkhand.

The Pre-School Nutrition and Education program focuses on combating malnourishment in young children through the provision of daily milk, directly targeting the early years of child development to prevent long-term health issues.

Concurrently, the Rahat Support initiative provides essential dry ration kits to vulnerable families who face severe socio-economic challenges, ensuring their access to basic nutrition and sustenance.
